Version: 0.15 (glpkg CLI)

Install glpkg

Requirements

  • Node.js 18 or later. glpkg ships as a single bundled file with no runtime dependencies.
  • The tool for each ecosystem you use: npm for npm packages, pip for PyPI (plus build and twine to publish), go for Go modules, the dotnet CLI for NuGet.
  • To publish: git and the GitLab CLI glab. glpkg uses glab to find the GitLab project of the current repository.
npm install -g @glpkg/cli

This installs the glpkg command. Check it:

glpkg --version
glpkg --help

Install from the GitLab registry

@glpkg/cli is also published to the microwiseai group registry on GitLab. If you already have glpkg, you can install or update it from there:

glpkg install -g @glpkg/cli --group microwiseai

A global install always needs --group or --external; see Package sources.

Update

Run the same install command again, for example npm install -g @glpkg/cli.
